Originates from the University of Tennessee’s Forensic Anthropology School.  This school includes the “body farm”, a research facility in which human cadavers are placed in various stages of burial, dress and undress, and in various conditions to determine the rate of decomposition, entomological effects on the decaying body, and various other aspects of human death investigation.  Many members of the FBI’s Evidence Response Team attend this school, and receive a special plaque upon graduation.  This plaque pictures the school’s cloth patch as well as the common red FBI Evidence Response Team patch.
